Get to Know Me

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting my website! 

Good day everyone! My name is MC Amarille and I live in Sydney, Australia. I am the creative behind Tinie Gold.

I am a self-taught artist. I had a very positive experience with art in my young age and being a middle child, I learned art from my siblings. They inspired me to create and appreciate art. I guess I have never really grew up because over the years, I continued with my art exploration. My younger brother, Christian, who studied a degree in Fine Art is my Art Mentor. Yass Queens, I am so lucky to have a fabulous mentor! Definitely using #blessed for that! 

In 2018, I discovered intuitive painting. This discovery helped me changed my approach to art. I have learned to paint without expectations, without attachment to the outcome nor to the process. I have learned to incorporate other mediums to acrylic such as pastels, pencil, charcoal and paper collage. Intuitive painting for me is full expression of my inner self and of my inner child; an exploration of colours, mediums, gestural movements, symbolism, and mark-making.

I love the intuitive approach because its very essence is pure play and letting loose on the canvas. The unintended gift of this approach  most often is an artwork bursting with colours infused with love, beauty, joy, and courage. I hope that you feel the positive emotions in my art, however, you may feel different or negative towards my artwork too and that’s absolutely expected. What is art if we can’t agree or disagree? Forget the Cancel Culture, let’s have conversations!
